Course: Tactical training Handgun.
I have attended tactical training with the TSASA Team during 2022. While I have experience in the handling and use of firearms, the training I undertook with TSASA took me to "the next level " in relation to education and skill. The level of patience by the instructors demonstrates the years of knowledge and field experience that is shared with their students. I have enrolled with TSASA for more training. The instructors and personnel at TSASA are very friendly, helpful and professional. I have referred at least four colleagues for various trainings and each of them were impressed with the quality of training, the ease with which training is delivered at a level that anyone at any level is able to comprehend and apply. Above all else, the good old fashioned values of morals, ethics and integrity through hard work are applied consistently. I will recommend TSASA's training to anyone who is seeking knowledge, value for money and quality any time.

Course: Rampage & Gun Craft 1 Rating
I just want to radiant the joy and satisfaction I get when I think of TSASA institute. In the past week TSASA instructors constructed an insane sport shooting stage call "rampage".... Iyooooo ......I did bad the first go because the stage is insane however upon reverse stage shoot...I excellent answer surpasses my time and all opponents expect 1 but it's cool......I'm happy with the trainers competence level, friendliness and equally assertive in implementing safety rules all the times... Me, I have synchronized their yearly calander events to my calender....I don't want to miss another insane shoot.....Shot till finger hurt...so until all empty...no one leaves with live range amo... I love it

Course: 4 Gun Course
That was the Hand Gun, Rifle, Carbine and Shotgun. I have to say the experience was great, the course material was easy to understand, but studying is a must. Further to this, Renier our Class Instructor was thorough in the way he explained the theory and it made more sense once we did the practical training. The practicals would require a fair amount of concentration, but once the first shot is fired, the rest is history. I would highly recommend TSASA to anyone, whether you a beginner or veteran that has been carrying a firearm for over 25 years, overall great experience.

The process of attaining a FIREARM license in SA consists of 2 phases, TRAINING and APPLICTION.
Yes REGISTRATION PREPERTION PRACTICAL and EXAMINATION classes are done on Wednesdays starting at 09h00 and ending at 17h00, bookings essential.
APPICATION is broken into 2 STEPS:
– POLICE Clearance or POLICE COMPETENCY, which certifies the person as fit to own a firearm under the firearms control act and only needs to be done once per fire arm type and MUST be renewed every 5 years regardless of the state of your firearm license.
– LICENSE to possess the firearm in question.
Police Competency is for you, which means you are found competent by SAPS to possess a Firearm, there are 4 types of Firearms and you need a competency for each one to be able to apply for the license.
Firearm License is for each of the Firearms you own, which means for every firearm you wish to own you must apply for a license for that firearm.
it takes a minimum of 6 weeks for the competency and then a minimum of 6 weeks for the License. But it can take up to 12 mouths for each individually.
