The South African Security Academy is an established and highly respected, dynamic, privately owned and operated company providing training to the security and private sectors with specific emphasis placed on assisting security companies to become PSIRA/SASSETA compliant. We are proud to be a BBBEE Level 1, 100% South African owned and operated company.

The Vision

The Members of TSASA vision is to assist the authorities in eradicating the huge corruption that is being exercised in the training industry by unscrupulous operators that have in the past not delivered properly trained individuals to the security industry but have merely opened ” printing shops ” as soon as they became accredited to provide training.

The Objective

  • The objective of TSASA is to remain a major role player in the retraining of the total security industry via the SASSETA / PSIRA ACCREDITED RPL SYSTEM.
  • TSASA therefore aims to assist all security companies in their quest to have their staff members re-qualified under the new SASSETA control training system and requirements via ON SITE information gathering via the SASSETA PRL SYSTEM and therefore expedite the process of re qualifying all security officers as soon as possible.
  • TSASA will only utilise SASSETA qualified assessors and moderators to enable us to deliver only the highest level of service to the security industry.
  • Alternatively TSASA is also able to provide all the required assistance for Companies and individuals to become PSIRA Certified via the PSIRA Grades Systems that allows applicants to apply for clearance directly form PSIRA, and start a carrier in the only COVID-19 resistance industry in South Africa.

The Client Base

All security companies that are currently operational are by virtue of the new dispensation obliged to re-train their officers as soon as possible or face the possibility of closure.


TSASA have via the Association Of Security Company Owners and several other organisations been able to make positive arrangements to be the only service supplier to deliver the SASSETA RPL SYSTEM to re-qualify their guards
